Smash Me, I’m Sick

Not Writer’s Block, I start,
no, self-hatred, lack of balance,
and you can beat yourself,
waiting for another 2%,
beat yourself silly,
lose your love, lose
your kindness,
your beauty,
watching yourself hating
the world, the people,
the beautiful people,
hiding in your dark
closets, 22 minutes
per day, and your brain
is pummeled and out runs
your patience, your
love, and you say,
I quit but you can’t.

It’s too difficult to quit, isn’t it? Which is good.

The honesty in your writing touches me. I have just found that you are following art rat cafe, although I didn’t receive notification of this – thank you – I am honoured. I will be back to explore your site in more depth…

Carl, I really connected with your post. I’m not sure if it was in a good or bad way ( I’m not in a very good spot right now) but it hit home. Keep writing. Your words hold true meaning. Hang tight. 🙂

As long as last line prevails hope remains. And is not false hope or delusional if we believe in ourselves. Not doing so leads to our evaporation.
