Seriously,
this is my 500th post,
and all I ever wanted to do
is to write one good piece,
to feel the feeling of one
bountiful creation.
I’ll keep trying
thanks to the beautiful
the kind and generous,
the open-minded people
who visit,
and cheer me on.

It’s one of those things that makes me feel sheepish, right? I see a lot of people say, “I wrote 2000 words today!” But it’s rare to see someone say, “I wrote a beautiful sentence this week!” I am surprised about how they add up.

I think it’s that dissatisfaction with all we write that keeps us writing. We may please others, but we never please ourselves. So we keep going.

Ah some uplifting optimism. That refreshing Carl. Keep posting and save your stuff for an anthology. My friend Rick will help me put up a 100 cartoon book on kindle/amazon.com. It’s free with 70% royalty. They will make a print on demand hard cover too. Amazon promotes by putting it in with their same genre books. Check it out.
