This series has been full of sharp, tight pieces, but none more than this one. Love the single punctuation at the end that allows multiple readings between the very finite Capital letter and full stop. I also love the symmetry and the look of this on the page/screen. A great piece.

Thank you so much, Richard. Your kindness means the world to me.

This is on the favorites list! Like Richard Holt says, there are multiple ways to read this and all are fantastic. I can’t articulate exactly what it is that makes this so spectacular but it is definitely a favorite. Oddly, not sure you meant it this way, but I find it fun thinking that she is playing in his skull, not that he is imagining her but that she is actually playing in there. Cruel of me perhaps, but it makes me smile. Ha!

Thank you for your comment. I like your take. The speaker may not know the difference between the dreams and the real.

Maybe more shocking, too close? Thank you for commenting.

I only see one meaning to this (but you know I have a hard time with poetry).
And I say GO FOR IT. haha

Kay, you have an amazingly subtle mind for interpreting poetic verse. The speaker will take your advice into account, but it’s awfully delicate inside a skull.
