It’s striking. The pain.
A useless question
sprinkled on the insanity
of the nurse’s-station wallpaper,
and all of the white tile,
crushed by shifts in a disgusting structure.
The clank of a halyard
or perhaps a construction tool
can’t be seen through the frosted glass,
and the plum-colored blinds
seem ready to carve me up.

Thank you for your comment…I like to feel like I’m painting and it’s nice to hear your words on that.

I have to remind myself each Monday, that I have never not made it, right?

Now that you mention it, apparently so! 🙂

I will never look at blinds the same way again. What a way to pick out a detail in the setting and make it matter so much. Excellent work.
