Portrait of Ten Thoughts II

The stench blended round mice
marketing numb pickup trucks
shooting delicate rackets,
brushing shattered canyons
covered with windy, chaotic waves
barking against shields
plunging and rocking dry, marvelous tarantulas
hanging on turquoise roofs
marking echoes of dark dips
in the furry dust.

Portrait of Ten Thoughts I

The band was running
and brandishing orange bicycles.
An elephant brokered decorative, dark trains.
Massive, obliterated mansions terrorized lambs
reversing course on stark roads
with overgrown cronies in the toasted corn.
The interim blockage surveyed and tinkered
with the flaming monkeys
who terminated tempered pet birds
which were damaged by roaming flu tests.
