Stretching Ties

Bonds,
but nothing seen.
Fatigue at change,
annoying character.
Invisible ties catch,
hold hearts.
Love is there,
nearby is torture.
Life is filthy.
Perfect understanding
through the eyes that tie,
of weakness.
Years and years,
fault-finding, ignoring defects.
Both need acceptance,
need the same trampoline.
Hard, hard work.
Our bonds should not be torn.
Stretched but never torn.
Care has power of god.

Thanks to Jingle for another Poetry Potluck. I worked to be on theme, but I might be missing some of the sunshine.

    “Bonds,
    but nothing seen.”
Thank God, maybe if they can’t be seen, they can’t be broken.

That may have been the strongest hope coming out of this.

Oh yes.. very true! !Life may seem really hopeless, and the bonds loose and battered! But hope gives everyone a second chance… and care and love give it all a new perspective!
Really, a lovely read, my friend!
